“Don’t back down
You gotta be a little nuts
Don’t back down
But show ’em now who’s got guts
Don’t back down
Don’t back down from that wave”

Don’t Back Down”-The Beach Boys

The gentleman in the photo would probably use lyrics from a band named “Metallic Flaming Gophers from Hell” but it’s my blog so bite me…..

What Corey Dissin does well is motivate.

There are many people who set out to achieve a goal but many find an excuse why not to do something. Corey usually finds a way…. he does not back down. From having a full time day job to running his personal training center “Train with Corey” to being a little league coach- He does it with a smile on his face. He has launched a new clothing line called “DISSIPLINE” , fusing his last name with disipline was a great idea. I wish him luck but he doesn’t need it. He’s got  plenty of  “dissipline”…

So impress your friends. Piss off your mother in law and buy her one for Mother’s Day. Wear it to church. Here’s where to order – http://www.dissipline.com

ph-news09-1cDuring this time of unease and conflict many of us wonder who will stand by us? When was the last time you really stood by someone?

The turmoil of life gives us extraordinary opportunities to practice random acts of kindness. Maybe we get peace of mind buy bringing peace to others. Maybe we will find love when we give love to others.

We can do this today in so many ways. Pay for the toll for the person behind you. Open the door for someone. Write an appreciative note. Say hi when you don’t have to. Maybe sing. Yea sing from the heart. For today sing from the heart.

This video made my heart sing . Let me know if yours does!

I was sittin’ in a crummy movie with my hands on my chinluv
Oh the violence that occurs seems like we never win

Love and mercy that’s what you need tonight
So, love and mercy to you and your friends tonight

I was lyin’ in my room and the news came on T.V.
A lotta people out there hurtin’ and it really scares me

Love and mercy that’s what you need tonight
So, love and mercy to you and your friends tonight

I was standin’ in a bar and watchin’ all the people there
Oh the lonliness in this world well it’s just not fair

Love and mercy that’s what you need tonight
Love and mercy tonight- “Love and Mercy”-Brian Wilson

One of these guys is going to end up YOUR President of the United States! So many of us complain about what we DON’T want! This is a time to have a voice for what you DO want. If you are anti-war…. vote for the candidate who is pro-peace! If you want better healthcare reform vote for the person who wants affordable healthcare. The choice is up to you.

There are so many negative posts about Obama and McCain (some are downright nasty). It makes one want to walk away from the media B.S., have a Pop-Tart and a diet Faygo rather than vote.

This election has forced the Democrats and the Republicans to really listen to what the average person wants! Not just the select few (who usually decide these political outcomes).

There are some out there who believe the average American doesn’t have the political background to make a well-informed decision.  So read what you can, view what you can, read blogs, newspaper articles, watch the networks, CNN, MSNBC, & Fox News.

The political hierarchy is watching to see if the average American is concerned about this election, but lets take this one step further.  Folks, whenever you can, wherever you can, vote on the LOCAL level also.  Voting for representatives in your own community is just as important if not more than the big elections.

Young Americans, you could make or break this Presidential election.  You have a voice that will echo for decades to come.  So Register.  Vote.  Vote!

It is my hope that we have record turn outs for this election.  Pass it on.  Tell others to register now.

The positive aspect of any election is the right to be heard with your vote.

The more who vote the louder the voice!

P.S. my apologies to the makers of diet Faygo.

A few weeks ago during a major trance meditation I got a message from a group of enlightened beings named the “Wilson”. Actually I’m lying, a lot. I was passed out on my couch watching the History Channel with a half eaten tunafish sandwich laying on my chest. The phone was ringing and I looked at the caller ID and it was a Utah number. Now I’ve gotten calls from all over the world but very seldom from Utah. I figured it was someone inquiring about having a session. I almost didn’t pick it up, but one can only watch “Ice Road Truckers” for so long. I decided to take the call. It was from intuitive medium, Amy Berry. She was asking me pointers on how to get her business up and running. I brushed the crumbs off my shirt, got into my serious business mode, and said “of course”.

The reason I am writing about this is that for whatever reason, Amy sought me out and I found that to be a very big compliment. When one intuitive seeks out another, I find it to be quite the blessing. Through the conversation, I found out many things about her. Her style of reading, her incredible sense of humor, and her no nonsense approach to mediumship and psychic work. We spoke twice and each phone call was a great way for me to tap in to my own wants and desires for my business and a way for me to assist her. I dont know how much help I really was but I know it was very helpful for me. Her website http://www.aim2inspire.net has great information on her psychic work and sessions. I highly recommend her kind and practical matter. No crazy talk about spiritual elves communicating that you don’t have to pay your rent this week. Amy, if you ever read this, I want to thank you for those phone calls. It reminded me that at times we all have to reach out with our intuition and take a chance on either meeting or calling someone “out of the blue”. I know your intent will take you far! I would suggest to anyone reading this to one day take the chance, write that letter, make that phone call, introduce yourself to the stranger, and see how beneficial it can be. Thank you Amy and good luck!
