During this time of unease and conflict many of us wonder who will stand by us? When was the last time you really stood by someone? 

The turmoil of life gives us extraordinary opportunities to practice random acts of kindness. Maybe we get peace of mind buy bringing peace to others. Maybe we will find love when we give love to others.

We can do this today in so many ways. Pay for the toll for the person behind you. Open the door for someone. Write an appreciative note. Say hi when you don’t have to. Maybe sing. Yea sing from the heart. For today sing from the heart.

“House” star Hugh Laurie bends Spoons with his mind!

I think sometimes I take myself too seriously. Don’t get me wrong I love what I do. Mediumship can be exhausting. Trying to get others to understand that is also very draining. Other times I get a big kick out of the usual question, “what do you do for a living?”. The long pause of silence after hearing ” Well, I talk to dead people” can be quite refreshing. This quick skit from Hugh Laurie’s earlier days on BBC remind me that keeping a sense of humor about my job makes it so much easier!
